Vice President of Sales at Dyna Dome Retractable Structures
Dyna Dome is hiring an Architectural Designer to support Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing by developing conceptual designs, producing architectural drawing packages, coordinating technical details for structural engineering review, and generating fabrication drawings—including BOMs and supporting product documentation—for our proprietary retractable structure systems.
This role plays a key part in advancing Dyna Dome’s product platform by establishing and maintaining clear design workflows, documentation standards, and parametric modeling structures that enable consistent, scalable project delivery.
Sales & Concept Support- Create renderings, conceptual models, and preliminary plan sets.
- Support sales presentations, customer meetings, and architect discussions.
- Develop parametric, rules-based models (Revit, Inventor, Tekla or similar).
- Create configurable families, assemblies, and product components.
- Maintain clean modeling standards and organized project files.
- Produce architectural drawing sets for submittals to project architect (you will not be the AOR on projects).
- Produce architectural/structural details based on input from engineering.
- Prepare structural engineering drawing packages for review and approval by licensed Structural Engineer.
- Develop shop drawings and assembly details.
- Generate BOMs from parametric models to be imported into inventory system.
- Coordinate with production for manufacturability and assembly feedback.
- Formal architectural drafting/design education required (Architecture degree, Architectural Technology, or accredited drafting program).
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, Inventor, or another parametric modeling platform.
- Ability to produce fabrication/shop drawings and BOMs.
- Strong understanding of architectural drafting standards.
- Experience with Autodesk Vault or similar document management systems.
