Applicants must be 20 years or older

Applicants must score 10th grade level or above on T.A.B.E. test (test of basic skills)

Applicants must have clean criminal background checks

Anyone with a 4 year degree or higher is not required to take the TABE test. You can submit the following information to me Monday-Friday.

Anyone with anything lower than a 4 year degree (bachelor's degree), will need to submit the following items to me before scheduling to take the TABE test.

A letter of recommendation from any Acadia parish public school principal.

Verification of education (high school diploma, official college transcript, or teaching certificate.)

Two forms of identification (Driver's license and social security card or birth certificate.)

Criminal history checks will be submitted to local and state police agencies. If there are no concerns with the background checks, your name will be added to our substitute list and sent to all the schools in the parish.
