About the Practice
We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Senior Lead GP to join our dynamic team at our surgery, which is part of a larger network that provides support, collaboration, and development opportunities. We are a friendly, forward‑thinking GP surgery with a supportive multidisciplinary team, including three GPs, an ACP Clinical Lead, ANP, Paramedic Practitioner, Prescribing Lead Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technician, supported by a brilliant nursing and admin team.
We use Systm One, offer 15‑minute appointments, and provide two protected GP Clinical Lead admin sessions per week to support leadership, quality improvement, and mentoring (pro‑rata). The practice is currently going through an exciting period of transition, with plans to implement total triage to improve patient access and streamline workflows. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated GP leader to help shape our future direction and be part of a progressive, supportive team delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care.
We offer flexible working arrangements, strong support for professional development, and a range of benefits including a competitive salary, pension scheme, and generous holiday entitlement.
- Lead and supervise the clinical team to ensure safe and high‑standard care.
- Support the implementation of total triage and other quality improvement initiatives.
- Mentor junior staff and lead clinical governance efforts.
- Participate in strategic planning to shape the future direction of the surgery.
- Allow GPs to focus on the tasks they can uniquely perform, including specific clinical and non‑clinical responsibilities and staff supervision.
- Segment patient care in a standardised manner and optimise workforce utilisation across surgeries.
- Recruit and retain salaried GPs, ACP Clinical Leads, ACPs and ANPs, enhancing continuity and reducing locum usage.
- Standardise roles, processes, and systems while centralising key functions for resilient workforce and improved stewardship of finances.
- Access to medical indemnity, peer and operational support, and dedicated mentorship.
- Employee Assistance Program and opportunities for professional growth within a growing organisation.
We value motivation, commitment to continuous professional development, and a genuine passion for delivering excellent healthcare and patient‑centred care.
