The Cleaning Tech plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This position involves performing thorough cleaning tasks using appropriate tools and cleaning agents to meet company and regulatory standards. The Cleaning Tech will be responsible for identifying areas that require attention and addressing them efficiently to uphold the facility's appearance and sanitation.

This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete assigned duties within scheduled time frames. Ultimately, the Cleaning Tech contributes significantly to the overall health, safety, and satisfaction of clients, visitors, and staff by delivering consistent and high-quality cleaning services.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a professional cleaning or janitorial role.
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and proper chemical handling procedures.
  • Certification in cleaning or sanitation practices.
  • Good communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays if required.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces in assigned areas.
  • Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively according to established guidelines and safety protocols.
  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in compliance with environmental and company policies.
  • Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor promptly.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are stored properly and in good working condition.
  • Follow detailed cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and management to address any specific cleaning requests or concerns.
