Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Overview
Lead Technician is responsible and accountable for all shop operations conducted during their scheduled shift. As a shift leader you will manage the workflow of all technicians assigned to your shift to include work assignment, follow-up and review of final repairs/work. As a shift lead you are responsible for enforcing TLDs policies and will be held accountable for poor technician
performance and unreported Job safety and policy violations of your subordinates. The shift leadwill work to keep shop morale high and promote a clean, organized and safe working culture. Repair requests, both verbal and written, will be entered into Dossier at the start of each shift and throughout the day as required. The daily yard check will be reviewed by the Shift Lead, for PMs
and repairs. The Shift Lead will report to their first line manager throughout the shift on assetstatus, technician attendance/behavior etc. At the end of each shift the lead will ensure the shop,
and their workstations are clean and organized and the Repair Orders have been reviewed
