Plateau Group Insurance is seeking a highly disciplined and execution-focused IT Project Manager to lead technology and software development initiatives across the organization.
This role sits at the center of our modernization program and will manage both strategic transformation projects and ongoing operational IT initiatives. The ideal candidate brings structure, accountability, and governance to cross‑functional execution while aligning IT and Software Development with business priorities.
This is not a passive coordination role. We are looking for a delivery leader.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end‑to‑end project management for IT and Software Development initiatives
- Manage modernization programs involving system upgrades, platform migrations, and process improvements
- Establish structured governance across Operations, IT, and Development
- Drive sprint planning, milestone tracking, and risk management
- Implement and maintain visibility using Microsoft 365 tools (Planner, Teams, SharePoint, Power BI as applicable)
- Ensure clear prioritization and alignment with executive leadership
- Identify bottlenecks and proactively resolve cross‑functional conflicts
- Deliver executive‑level reporting on status, risks, and capacity
- Support operational projects alongside strategic initiatives
- PMP, PMI‑ACP, or equivalent certification
- Experience in insurance or financial services
- Experience in modernization or system migration programs
- Exposure to data warehouse, CRM, or enterprise platform implementations
