Overview
Spero Health is seeking a Counselor to join our team in Crossville, TN. This position is for a licensed counselor or social worker who supports the mission of “Saving Lives, Instilling Hope and Restoring Relationships” in an integrated team with patients receiving counseling, case management and medically assisted treatment. Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities- Conduct initial assessment and ongoing patient care.
- Provide counseling to patients through evidenced-based practice.
- Provide patient education.
- Ensure accountability of treatment program and patient compliance through collaboration.
- Assist patients in creating realistic goals toward achieving freedom from addiction.
- Act as a clinic resource and assure compliance with HIPAA and CFR
42 Part 2 regulations.
- Master s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, and/or Substance Abuse Treatment.
- Licensed Counselor/Social Worker with education in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Substance Abuse Treatment.
- Minimum of 1 year of full-time employment/internship in a human-services setting AND Master s Degree in behavioral science, as defined above.
- Licenses: LADAC II, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LPC-MHSP, or LPC-MHSP Temp.
