Pay Package:

Taxable Rate: $25.40/hour ($914.40/ week)

Tax Free Stipend: $1246/ week

Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care across diverse healthcare settings. The ideal candidate is adaptable, clinically strong, and comfortable working with adult patients who have a wide range of medical conditions. This role requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to integrate quickly into new teams and environments.

• Provide direct nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients in accordance with hospital policies and standards
• Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge plans
• Maintain patient safety and infection control standards
• Float to related units as needed based on facility requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (compact license preferred)
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred, depending on facility)
• Experience with common Med-Surg equipment and procedures
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
• Strong clinical judgment and time-management skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc.)
• NIH Stroke Scale or other specialty certifications (facility-dependent)
