As a part of the Production Team, a Production Assembly Worker will be responsible for all required assemblies and installations on heavy-duty transit buses in the assigned work area on the production line, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
We are seeking Production Assembly Workers for two different shifts.
Schedule1st shift – Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m.
- 3:30 p.m. with the possibility of manned overtime M‑Th until 5:30 p.m. and every other Saturday (7:00 a.m.
- 3:30 p.m.).
2nd shift – Monday - Thursday 3:00 p.m.
- 1:30 a.m. with the possibility of manned overtime every other Friday (3:00 p.m.
- 11:30 p.m.).
- Performs all installations or assemblies within a specified work area on the production line.
- Prepares work to be accomplished by reviewing assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, parts lists, and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools and materials.
- Ensures quality and consistency in installations or assemblies within a specified work area.
- Works from blueprints, process sheets, and written instructions while building to specifications using measurement tools and basic math skills.
- Has working knowledge of hand and air tools. Employee is regularly exposed to vibration and occasionally works near moving mechanical parts.
- Regularly lifts and moves up to 10 lbs., frequently lifts up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs.
- Bends, stoops, reaches, climbs, and works using a ladder. Employee will stand for extended periods performing repetitive tasks.
- Ensures workstation is kept clean and safe.
- Is present on the job to perform the assigned duties and works overtime which is often required to meet production schedules.

Requirements- Ability to use small hand and power tools repetitively, as well as measuring equipment and tools.
- Ability to read and follow intermediate measurements and instructions with a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Be a team player, a self‑starter and able to work in a team setting.
- Good communication skills, ability to work with little supervision, with excellent time‑management skills.
- Can lift at least 50 lbs.; this may not happen frequently. Must also bend, work above the head, climb a ladder, and remain on feet for the majority of the shift.
- Competitive wages – $24.20 first shift – first pay increase at 5 months.
- $1.10/hr shift differential for 2nd shift.
