HTB Graphic Designer

Overview

Role Purpose The key purpose of this role is to design HTB content to brief. The role is to develop, innovate and design assets for print and digital across a range of projects. This varied and collaborative role works within a multi‑disciplinary Creative Department (Worship, Production and Media).

• Contributes fully to the day to day operation of the team or area, always seeking to be flexible and with an attitude of service
• Able to deliver routine tasks and resolve straightforward issues
• Develop concepts, graphics, and layouts for a range of platforms and deliverables including social media, website, live events, and print assets
• Execute concepts, graphics and layouts through to final delivery
• Responsible for making sure all assets created are in line with the brief and the relevant branding and editorial guidelines.
• Work across multiple projects at once, and responsible for making sure assets are delivered on time and within budget
• Report to Lead Designer providing regular updates on design styles, formats, print production and timescales
• Collaborate with the department to workshop ideas at the initial stages.
• Collaborate with the design team, encouraging them to share their ideas.
• Generate and innovate creative ideas and think strategically about new projects
• Execute and deliver innovative, fresh and exciting design assets
• Maintain a keen awareness of current design directions, trends, and industry standards
• Work with and train volunteers to build community and deliver exciting and appealing content

• Using a good degree of proficiency and well-established professional knowledge, will analyse and help to find solutions to challenges and issues that arise

• Good knowledge of the design process, from briefing to delivery
• Confidence using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• 2-3 years experience in print, digital, and typography
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to establish credibility with colleagues and to foster strong working relationships with a wide range of people
• Proven qualities of adaptability with rapidly changing circumstances
• Able to deliver to a high standard and fast turn around
