Crieff Hydro HotelIn the heart of Scotland, we’re set in a 900 acre estate in stunning Perthshire. A home from home, we’ve been welcoming generations of families for 150 years. We have 215 hotel bedrooms, 55 self-catering lodges, 6 restaurants and over 60 onsite activities – including a spa, leisure center, horse-riding center and our famously exciting Action Glen. There really is something for everyone!
Aboutthe role
Events and celebrations are a key part of our offering across our Family of Hotels and we have an exciting opportunity to lead our Event Sales Team and position Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels as the leading option in Scotland for meetings, events, conferences, team building and celebrations.
As the Head of Event Sales, you will be the driving force behind our revenue growth and will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our business across our properties within Crieff, Peebles and the West Coast.
You’ll have a strong background in sales and events management with an impressive track record in delivering exceptional customer experiences, streamlining processes and growing revenue through reactive sales conversion, upselling and developing new opportunities.
You should be excited by growth and opportunity, passionate about possibilities and have outstanding people skills – we’re looking for someone who can build strong and long‑lasting relationships with clients, partners and our internal stakeholders.
You’ll be a natural leader with infectious enthusiasm and exceptional communication skills, who can inspire and motivate our team to achieve their goals and shine.
You’ll be based primarily at Crieff; the role is available on a hybrid basis with a minimum of three days at Crieff and other sites as required
Do you have what it takes?Exceptional customer service is at the heart of our business, so your friendly, welcoming personality is a given. Leadership is another area you’ll excel in, and your enthusiasm and passion for hospitality will inspire and energise the teams you lead. You’ll have previous management experience of conference and events within top quality hospitality venues. No two days are the same and you’ll thrive on the constant challenge of the role.
From training the team, managing budgets and improving our service - everything you do will show your commitment to driving the business forward.
