Oakbank Care Home is recruiting Care Assistants to join its twilight care team at its new, purpose built care home in Crieff.

Oakbank Care Home provides residential, dementia, nursing, palliative, and respite care, with a strong focus on person centred support and resident wellbeing.

This role is suited to someone kind, reliable, and compassionate, whether experienced in care or looking to start a new career in the sector.

The role

As a Care Assistant, you will provide warm, respectful, person centred care to residents during evening hours.

Duties include supporting residents with personal care, daily routines, meals, and activities, as well as offering companionship and reassurance.

You will also help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment and remain alert to any changes in residents’ health or wellbeing.

Working pattern

This is a part time role working 24 hours per week.

Hours are worked as seven four hour evening shifts over a four week rotation, including every second weekend.

Shift times are 6.00pm to 10.00pm.

What we are looking for

This role would suit someone caring, patient, and respectful, with a genuine desire to make a difference.

Previous care experience or a Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential, as full training and support will be provided.

A willingness to learn and work as part of a supportive team is essential.
