About the Position

Early Childhood Practitioner (PKC
13415) – Crieff Primary School, Perth & Kinross Council. Working 18 hours per week, term‑time only.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver child‑centred early learning and childcare for children aged 2‑5 years.
  • Work effectively as part of a team and adapt flexible approaches to support children and parents.
  • Support ongoing professional development and contribute to a positive learning environment.
Essential Qualifications
  • Appropriate qualification such as SNNEB, NNEB, HNC, SCQF Level 7, or SVQ 3 in Childcare and Education, or SVQ 3 in Social Services (Children and Young People).
  • Eligibility to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) – the candidate may be required to apply for registration within 3 months and be registered within 6 months.
  • Qualification to join the PVG Scheme or a PVG update check if working with children and/or protected adults.
  • Overseas Criminal Record Check if lived overseas for 12 months or more in the last 10 years.
Pay and Working Hours

£13,140 – £14,072 per year (18 hours per week, term‑time only).
