Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Stores Assistant to join our team in Cheshire. This role is ideal for someone with experience working in a manufacturing or distribution environment who understands the importance of maintaining accurate stock control and safe warehouse operations. The successful candidate will support day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure all good are unpacked, received and stored safely & securely
Making sure all goods for dispatch are sent out on time and packed to ensure safe, timely receipt by the customer
Ensure that all materials and components are distributed to the designated manufacturing/production areas
Identify training needs to assist your career progression
Requirements

Previous experience in a Stores Assistant, Warehouse Operative, or similar role, ideally within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Good understanding of warehouse processes, stock control and goods-in/goods-out procedures.
Strong awareness of health and safety practices within a warehouse setting.
Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence & Reach Truck Licence (Distinct advantage)
Full UK Driving Licence
