Train Presentation Operative
Contract – Permanent
Working Hours – working on average 30 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 14:00 – 22:00

The RoleYou will be responsible for ensuring that trains delivered for service are clean, delivering internal and External deep cleans safely and meet to the clients’ expectations. Deliver the highest possible performance as a team member.
What will I be doing as a Train Presentation Operative?- Carry out tasks to meet customer requirements; ensure all cleaning activities are carried out in line with laid down operating instructions, procedures, and processes.
- Take ownership of the output specification of presentation standards on a vehicle or unit, delivering internal and external deep cleans.
- Preparation of the cleaning kits and equipment at start / end of each shift.
- Assist the Train Presentation co‑ordinator in carrying out their duties, as required.
- To deliver a standard of work that ensures all trains delivered into service are clean and meet the client’s expectation.
- Maintain tools and equipment, report any defects to the TPO co‑ordinator.
- Ensure all documentation / paperwork issued relating to the work being carried out is correctly and fully completed.
- Take part in technical, quality, safety and general briefings and safety tours, ensuring that the necessary action is taken on items raised.
- Use all PPE in accordance with standards and local instructions.
- Previous experience working as a cleaner, ideally within a commercial/ industrial environment is essential
- Awareness and understanding of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health)
- Ability to work effectively both as part of a small team and independently
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to pass an industry standard medical
