FEMALE - Personal Care Assistant Required to support a lady in Crewe, CW2

14 Hours Per Week – over 2 days to share the role with other PA. Cover holidays and sickness.

£12.70 per hour

Days & Times to be discussed at interview.

Personal Care – To supervise when in the shower in-case of a fall & to help to get dressed.

This lady can get confused and often repeats tasks due to her brain injury, therefore supervision & support is required when completing daily tasks.

To supervise & support when making meals.

To supervise when taking medication, as this needs to be taken at a particular time each day.

To support and join in when doing activities such as baking and art.

To encourage & support when going out for walks.

To help with independence.

The main duties identified in the job description are examples of the expectations required; I may on occasions reasonably request additional activities to be undertaken inside or outside of the home.

My assistant must be honest, trustworthy, and reliable.

My assistant must respect my privacy and always maintain my dignity.

My assistant must be enthusiastic and flexible with a caring disposition.

You must be able to work well independently.

Experience is preferred, with knowledge around epilepsy & seizures.

My Assistant must be encouraging, to support with activities such as baking.

My personal assistant is accountable to me in all aspects of their work. They should always ask what my needs are and listen to my directions and requests.

The post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure which will be funded through your employer.
