About the role

Are you passionate about driving Health & Safety standards from good to great? We’re looking for a Health & Safety Business Partner to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our strategic direction across Logistics and Retail.

Working closely with our Health & Safety Manager, you’ll help define and uphold compliance standards, embed best practices into daily operations, and provide data-driven insights to senior stakeholders. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on collaboration, champions change, and wants to make a real impact.

  • Location:

    Nationwide (Travel Required)
  • Shift Pattern:
    Monday - Friday (37.5 hours per week)
What can you expect to be doing
  • Champion our Health & Safety strategy across Logistics and Retail.
  • Monitor compliance with policies, procedures, and legal obligations.
  • Analyse data and produce high-quality reports to identify risks and recommend improvements.
  • Launch and support a refreshed Health & Safety communication strategy.
  • Present insights and trend analysis to senior leadership.
  • Guide stakeholders in setting meaningful Health & Safety targets.
  • Advise on legislative changes and their impact on the business.
  • Conduct site reviews and thematic assessments using risk matrices.
  • Deliver training and support projects, including new site openings.
  • Maintain strong relationships with regulators and external authorities.
  • Help us maintain our RoSPA Gold Award status.
A Few Things About Our Ideal Health and Safety Business Partner
  • CertIOSH membership (CMIOSH preferred but not essential).
  • Strong communication, influencing, and conflict management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across governance roles and all levels of the business.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Excel and Power BI.
  • Experience building high-quality reports and translating data into actionable insights.
  • Self‑motivated with great time‑management skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to AO sites or client locations.
  • A true ambassador for our company values.
