Crewe Medical Centre is a large and busy GP surgery located in North West Edinburgh. The practice is easily accessible by car and parking is available. Due to recent onboarding issues we are again looking for a capable and enthusiastic new Practice Manager to lead our friendly team, which consists of five GP partners supported by three salaried GPs, an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Practice Nurses, Healthcare Assistant, Pharmacist, Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner, Link Worker, Mental Health Nurse and Administrative staff.

We serve a diverse group of around 11,100 patients including a higher than average number of people affected by deprivation.

• Personnel management and team leadership
• Financial management and forecasting
• Day‑to‑day management of the practice operations
• Developing and maintaining links with local health‑related community organisations
• Supporting GP training and placements for FY2 doctors and medical students

• Experience in a management position in a healthcare setting (advantageous but not essential)
• Strong skills in personnel and financial management
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team

30 hours per week over at least 4 days (flexible hours possible). Job share arrangements considered. Salary: £50,000 per year pro rata (full time 37 hours).
