Your new company is a leader in their field based in Crewe and are looking for a Dealership Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.
Your new role
- Lead and support a team responsible for accounting and administrative activities within the vehicle operations function.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust financial procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance across the division.
- Oversee balance sheet integrity and actively manage working capital to support business performance.
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts, providing insight into financial results.
- Produce weekly cashflow forecasts and monitor short term financial requirements.
- Coordinate the annual budgeting cycle, working closely with operational leaders.
- Partner with site management teams to provide financial guidance and support commercial decision making.
- Hold financial oversight for multiple sites within the region, requiring occasional travel to each location.
- This is a full time, office based role located at the main site, where the central finance and administration team is based.
- Strong IT capability is essential, particularly advanced use of Excel.
Experience with dealership management systems e.g., Kerridge would be beneficial.
- Qualified Accountant ACCA/ CIMA/ ACA or qualified by experience
- Dealership experience is essential
- Brings a strong commercial focus and is comfortable driving continuous improvement, adopting fresh approaches to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Adopts an active, hands on style, engaging directly with day to day financial and operational activities within the dealership environment.
- Salary depending on experience c.£65,000
