The role of Assistant Management Accountant within the Telematics business unit is really important to us. You will report to the Financial Controller and work closely with the Accounting & Financial Control team to support accurate and timely financial reporting.

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Supporting the production of financial reporting packs and commentary for review by senior finance colleagues.
• Helping to compare actual performance to budgets and forecasts, preparing variance analysis where required.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
• Assisting with year‑end processes, including preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation.
• Working with the team to improve processes and controls, identifying opportunities for efficiency.
• Providing ad hoc analysis and support to the Financial Controller.
• Collaborating with central teams (Group, Tax, Compliance) as needed.

• Part‑qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/AAT) or actively studying towards qualification.
• Previous experience in a finance role (e.g., accounts assistant or similar) desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and a logical approach to problem‑solving.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with large data sets.
• Organised and able to manage workload and deadlines.
• Good communicator and team player.
• Experience in a multi‑entity organisation is an advantage but not essential.
