Part time or Full time Simply Education are recruiting on behalf of a specialist school for a dedicated Science Teacher to join a supportive team working with young people who require additional support to re-engage with education and achieve their potential. As a Science Teacher , you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and supporting the wider vision of the academy.

As a Science Teacher , you will plan and deliver engaging Science lessons, monitor student progress and adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs. As a Science Teacher , you will also support the development of high-quality teaching and learning within the Science curriculum and contribute to a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities As a Science Teacher , you will:
Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons that support strong student progress Monitor and assess student achievement and track progress against targets Support the development of high-quality Science teaching and learning across the school Work with the SENCO to identify students who require additional support or intervention Deliver and support PSHE and RHSE programmes where required Maintain positive behaviour and create a supportive learning environment Support the mental health and wellbeing of students Contribute to the planning, organisation and development of the Science curriculum Support colleagues through sharing best practice to improve teaching and learning

What We Are Looking For We are seeking a Science Teacher who:
Must be a Science Teacher with QTS or QTLS Has strong subject and curriculum knowledge in Science Is able to set high expectations and inspire students to achieve Demonstrates success in supporting students who may be working below expected levels Has experience working with disengaged or disconnected learners Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability within the curriculum Is committed to improving student outcomes and wellbeing Is committed to the school's focus on improving student attainment
