Computer Science Teacher - Crewe (Long Term Contract)

Daily rate: £160 – £233 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
OverviewAcademics Ltd is recruiting a Computer Science Teacher for a high‑performing 11‑18 mixed comprehensive school rated “Good” by Ofsted. The role will teach across KS3 and KS4, and the school will also consider applicants able to teach IT only.
Responsibilities- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging computer science lessons for KS3 and KS4 pupils.
- Develop curriculum and resources that promote digital literacy and computational thinking.
- Maintain high behaviour expectations and support positive pupil relationships.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the department to share best practice.
- Contribute to continuous professional development and participate in school meetings.
- Qualified teacher with a PGCE or equivalent, or a substantial, demonstrable interest in computer science teaching.
- Experience of teaching KS3/KS4, or a willingness to develop rapidly in a new area.
- Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply.
February 2026 – July 2026, with the possibility of a permanent role for September.
