Main duties of the jobThe Practice is looking for a highly motivated individual who will ensure:

The delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled population
The provision of services commensurate with the GMS contract
Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance
Effective management of long-term conditions
Processing of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests, results and other associated administrative tasks
Working days include Thursday and Friday

Our current team has a full complement of allied health professionals including, Seven GP Partners, Salaried GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Paramedic, Mental Health Workers, Practice Nurses, Physiotherapist, SPLW, Pharmacists, Business Manager,Practice Operations Manager and a complement of highly skilled support staff.

Person Specification Qualifications- MRCGP
- Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent JCPTGP
- General Practitioner (Certificate of Completion of Training CCT)
- Experience of working in a primary care environment
- Experience of continued professional development
- Experience of QOF and clinical audit
- General understanding of the GMS contract
- Minimum of two years as a salaried GP
- Experience of medicines management
- Experience of CCG initiatives
