What You’ll Do

As a Sous Chef at Parc Provence, you will:

  • Lead and inspire a dedicated culinary team, fostering a positive, collaborative kitchen culture.
  • Support daily operations by understanding departmental goals, standards, and budgets and adjusting workflows to keep everything running smoothly.
  • Oversee food purchasing, prep, inventory, and staffing to maintain exceptional quality while managing costs responsibly.
  • Ensure culinary excellence by monitoring cooking techniques, tasting dishes, and coaching team members.
  • Collaborate on menu development to bring variety, creativity, and resident-centered dining experiences.
  • Maintain the highest standards of safety and sanitation
    , ensuring compliance with all health regulations.

What You Bring
Education
  • High school diploma required
  • Must be 18+ and able to read and write
  • Serv Safe Manager Certificate (Required)
Experience
  • 3 years of Dining Services experience, ideally in a healthcare or hospitality setting
  • At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience
  • Cooking: 2 years (Required)
  • Management: 2 years (Preferred)
Skills & Qualities
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with residents, families, and staff
  • A commitment to organization, consistency, and high culinary standards
  • A positive attitude and a genuine passion for serving others
  • A desire to be part of a mission-driven, resident-centered team
