Overview
The CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. The CT Technologist must also effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.

- Education:
Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completion of required clinical hours. - Experience:
no experience required - Licensure:
State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice. - Certification/Registration:
Obtained ARRT registry OR Registry eligible (Achieve registry within 6 months of eligibility);
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
- Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Proficiency in operating imaging equipment. - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
- Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
