, you will be a key resource and subject matter expert, leading clients and project teams to successful outcomes. You’ll play a critical role in master planning, programming, and strategic facility development, helping to define the future of discovery spaces.
This role may work from any studio - St. Louis, Indianapolis, Tampa, Denver, Raleigh, Charlotte, Austin, or Houston. This position is a planning expert and resource responsible for leading clients and project teams to successful outcomes.
What You’ll Do:Lead Lab Planning & Strategy
- Develop project-specific space programs that align with client needs.
- Guide master planning efforts and assist in project pre-design packages.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, design metrics, and regulatory standards.
- Work closely with Principals, designers, and project teams to bring planning concepts to life.
- Provide technical expertise in programming, schematic design, and space planning.
- Create and refine planning documentation to support design development.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and licensing standards.
- Provide mentorship to architectural teams, helping to develop the next generation of planning expertise.
- Foster strong client relationships, leading to repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Educational Background:
Accredited Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture. - Professional Licensure:
Licensed Architect with current registration. NCARB certification preferred. - Experience:
At least 15 years related experience, including facility programming, experience interfacing with users including leading programming and design meetings with clients. - Industry specific certifications preferred.
- Strong knowledge and expertise working in the discovery market.
- Understands planning, architecture and project management tools and software.
- Experience with architectural graphics preferred.
