Hourly Rate: $16.12 + monthly incentives
Crete Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants to serve as an on‑call substitute for classified hourly positions.
This sub position may include general para educators, food service, custodial, and secretary.
The role of a Substitute is to ensure that tasks are completed and students are supervised in the absence of the regular classified staff. Your interest in subbing for hourly positions is based off of your selections in the application section "Classified Areas of Interest." Please select which positions you are willing to fill in for.
Essential Requirements- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- Good overall appearance
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to react well under pressure, handle and balance multiple demands at one time, work with frequent interruptions, and perform duties and tasks at expected levels of professionalism
- Satisfactory completion of criminal background check
- Perform the work as required to replace existing staff as needed.
- Perform other tasks or duties as assigned by the Principal
The relationship between employer and employee is based on mutual respect and consent and therefore, will continue as long as both parties find the relationship to be satisfactory. Employees are provided reasonable assurance of continuous employment for the upcoming school year until the position is terminated either by the employee or CPS.
