Position: Universal Worker I (Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) - PRN - Assisted Living

Universal Worker I (Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)) – PRN/as needed

Location:

Tabitha in Crete– The Gardens Assisted Living, Crete, NE. Schedule includes weekend and holiday rotation.

Essential Functions

Provides assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring/ambulation, and continence.

Assists with admissions, discharges, transfers, and orientation of new employees.

Follows department protocol for submission of completed documentation.

Prioritizes assignments, making adjustments throughout the shift to meet continuously changing or overlapping client needs, call lights, and manager requests.

Performs duties within the assigned work environment as assigned by Tabitha, regardless of team member preference.

Follows through on the comprehensive care plan or service plan as developed for each client.

Complies with HIPAA regulations regarding privacy by safeguarding Protected Health Information (PHI) at all times.

Implements activities for the seniors or clients.

Prepares, plates, and serves meals, snacks, and other foods requested by or for clients.

Assists with cleanup of the dining room and is responsible for housekeeping and laundry duties as needed.

Ideal Candidate

COMMUNICATION: Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English, including medical terminology related to the job.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to access the work area and safely perform the duties. Vision and hearing within normal limits (with or without correction). Must have unrestricted lift/push/pull ability of 50 pounds, demonstrating strength and agility at Tabitha's discretion.
AGE REQUIREMENT: At least 16 years old.
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Six months experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.
CREDENTIALS: CNA certification in good standing as demonstrated by inclusion on the Nebraska State Registry required. MA‑40 certification preferred. If utilizing MA‑40 certification, CPR is required. All certifications must be kept up to date at the employee's expense. Must meet Tabitha's vaccination requirements.
