Doane Leadership Educators (DLE)

Job Location Purpose of JobDLE focuses on promoting and creating opportunities for others to grow in their leadership. Through our interview series, workshops, and other unique platforms, we seek to collaborate with other groups and help foster equitable leadership that will shape leaders for the future. This student-driven position is focused on creating opportunities for all Doane students to engage with leadership development and focus on growth.
Positionsinclude
- On the Way Up Interviewer
- Emerging Leadership Facilitator
- Emerging Leader Administrator
- Social Media/Video Editing Manager
- Attend scheduled meetings
- Create leadership development opportunities for many different groups to engage with and learn
- Lead workshops focused on developing leaders through the Doane community
- Be involved in our social media presence and help create content to share with our community
- Chair will assist in the process to selection of selecting the Directions Cohort
- Each member will be on a committee focused on a specific program within DLE.
- Partner with HLP on the Emerging Leaders program to coach students one on one
- Attend required Spring Student Leadership Training (Sunday, April 26th)
- Have a genuine interest in leadership, followership, and service.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with diverse people.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn new skills
- Creativity in problem-solving and program development.
Total Weekly Hours Required 1-2 hours per week. Stipend-based, depending on role. Stipends range from $270-$405 per semester.
