Civil Construction Superintendent

Job Description

A reputable heavy civil contractor in Central Nebraska is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead highway, bridge, and wet utility projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years (preferred) of heavy civil construction experience as a Superintendent or similar role
• Proven experience with DOT-spec highway and bridge projects
• Experience with wet utilities (water main, sanitary sewer, storm sewer) preferred
• Knowledge of project scheduling software (Primavera, MS Project, or similar)
• Ability to read and interpret civil plans and specifications
• Understanding of cost tracking, estimating, and job costing
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)
• OSHA 30 preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
• Some regional travel
