All About General Merchandise:
Experts of store process and efficiency who enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise areas of the store. This team conducts inventory accuracy, merchandise set-up and maintenance and pricing processes for all areas of the store.

Experts enable efficient delivery to our guests by supporting pick, pack and ship fulfillment work.

What you will gain: training to learn how operational procedures such as setting up and organizing merchandise, managing stock levels, and maintaining sales floor areas affect inventory, store profitability, and product availability.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks and engage with guests to solve their specific needs
• Assist guests and support daily tasks to help achieve goals aligned with business priorities, including receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs for GM areas
• If certified, operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures
• Execute processes including changing prices, merchandise set-up and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed
• Learn how operational procedures affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability
• Be knowledgeable about store resources, products, and services to solve issues and improve guest experience
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
• Work in a safe manner; comply with safety policies and training; report hazards and correct where possible
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (e.g., picking and packing orders or delivering pickup orders) while complying with laws
• All other duties based on business needs

• Climb ladders; scan, handle and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance
• Work in varying temperatures and conditions while performing duties
• Remain mobile for the duration of a shift
