Parts Counter Salesperson

The Parts Counter Salesperson is the primary point of contact for customers seeking parts and accessories. This role involves assisting customers in identifying and purchasing the correct parts, maintaining inventory, and delivering excellent service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in person, by phone, and via email with parts inquiries and orders.
• Recommend appropriate parts and accessories based on customer needs.
• Accurately process parts sales, returns, and exchanges.
• Maintain and organize parts inventory; ensure accurate record-keeping and stock levels.
• Work closely with the service department to fulfill internal parts requests.
• Provide technical knowledge and product assistance to customers.
• Stay up to date on product lines, parts catalogs, and current promotions.
• Keep the parts area clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Accurately handle customer payments and invoices.
• Collaborate with team members and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical or trade school a plus).
• Previous experience in parts counter sales (agricultural, construction, or automotive industry preferred).
• Knowledge of Kubota equipment and parts is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read and interpret parts catalogs and technical manuals.
• Experience using inventory and POS systems.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
