Responsibilities

We are currently seeking PRN Registered Nurses for our Crestview, FL location; flexible daytime schedules available! The nurses at OYA provide medical management and assessment of our patients in a non‑secure, certified juvenile justice residential facility for males.

• Med pass
• Admissions
• Rounds with the primary MD
• Twice monthly rounds with psychiatrist
• Blood draws
• Other basic nursing duties

This is a 12‑hour shift. Candidates must be willing to work two days per week and one weekend per month.

• Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program (required).
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a registered nurse in a psychiatric health care facility and/or adolescent health care setting (preferred).
• Currently licensed as a Florida RN.
• Able to pass a Level 2 DJJ background screen.
