Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license or multistate compact nursing license

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – required

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience in a hospital or healthcare setting

• AHCA clearance required for all Florida travel nurses
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients on the Stroke Unit (Med Surg 2S)

• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

• Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and recovery processes
