Synectics Inc. is hiring a Phlebotomist.

• Represent the company to patients, both for routine health visits and life‑defining health decisions.
• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established practices and procedures.
• Engage patients, create an atmosphere of trust and confidence, explain procedures, and draw blood safely and accurately.
• Demonstrate Leadership Behaviors, focus on process excellence, and maintain confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.
• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties confidently, following established practices and procedures.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Provide quality, error‑free work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Work independently with minimal on‑site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
• Minimum of 6 months experience in phlebotomy.
• One or more years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.
• Candidates must have a commute of 20‑25 minutes to/from the site.
• Shift/Time Zone:
  Central Monday‑Friday 6:00‑3:00, Saturday 7:00‑11:00.

• Healthcare Insurance: Healthcare coverage through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois for eligible employees and dependents. Eligibility begins on the first day of the month following 60 days of continuous full‑time employment. Premiums are subsidized by Synectics.
• Dental Insurance: Dental plan through Met Life for eligible employees and dependents. Eligibility begins after 60 days of continuous full‑time employment.
• Vision Insurance: Vision coverage through VSP for eligible employees and dependents. Eligibility begins after 60 days of continuous full‑time employment.
• 401(k) Plan: Synectics offers all employees 21 years or older the opportunity to invest in the 401(k) Plan on the first enrollment date that is at least 30 days after employment begins. Enrollment dates:
  January 1, April 1, July 1, October 1.
• Technical Certification Bonus: Bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification related to the current position. One bonus per calendar year may be awarded. The bonus is granted 90 days after documentation confirming successful completion of the certification is received.
