Youth Minister

The First Baptist Church of Crestview, Florida, is seeking a Youth and College Pastor. This position will involve engaging the local youth culture to build this program. Those applying for this position should be filled with the Holy Spirit, be theologically well-grounded, have enthusiasm for ministry, and a willingness to work. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $50,00 to $62,000.

Applicants should have a college degree and seminary preferred, as well as at least 5 years of experience in youth ministry. Crestview is a rapidly growing area of Northwest Florida, and while it has a rich rural and agricultural heritage, the sectors of military, aviation, and high tech are rapidly expanding in the Crestview area. Those applying for this position need to understand that the ministry will start small, so being a self-starter, having an established understanding of how to grow a youth and collegiate ministry, and being willing to be in the local schools and engaging the youth culture is essential.

One final thing: this person will also be required to be engaged in local and international missions, so if hiking in rough country in Central Asia, working with underground churches in closed countries, and serving in hot and humid regions in Central America frightens you, then this position is not for you.
