Requirements
- Knowledge of computer hardware, networking, and event tech systems.
- Experience working with routers, switches, radios, and point-of-sale kits preferred.
- Comfort with cabling, labeling, and structured installations.
- Festival, construction or event operations experience is an asset.
- Familiarity with common software platforms and troubleshooting processes.
- Experience working in customer service is an asset.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
The Tech Assistant is a key operational member of the SMF Tech Department, supporting both the Tech Director and Tech Supervisor in the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all festival technology systems.
