Sterling Engineering is partnering with a growing industrial manufacturer in Crest Hill, IL to hire an Electrical Panel Builder. This position supports production by assembling and wiring industrial control panels used in heavy equipment and automated systems. This is a full-time, first-shift direct hire opportunity offering steady hours and long-term stability.

• Assemble and wire electrical control panels using schematics and layout drawings
• Mount electrical components including relays, circuit breakers, PLCs, and terminal blocks
• Route and terminate wiring according to electrical diagrams
• Perform functional testing, inspections, and quality checks
• Use electrical testing equipment to verify proper operation
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Experience with industrial panel building or electrical assembly
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training a plus)

• Familiarity with UL508A standards
• Experience wiring PLCs or automation equipment

• Frequent standing and use of hand tools
• Lifting and positioning panels and electrical components
• Ability to work safely around electrical equipment
