Purpose StatementThe Sanitation Technician is responsible for ensuring that sanitation is compliant with company standards and policies.
ScheduleSat/Sun/Mon 3:00 am-3:00 pm
Key Accountabilities and Outcomes- Always use Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
- Ability to understand and take directions
- Be able to work flexible hours, including overtime if required
- Follow company policies
- Lift up to 100 lbs
- Work in wet and dusty conditions
- Comfortable with heights and able to climb ladders
- Follow work instructions while cleaning equipment
- Use chemicals safely (follow chemical instructions)
- Clean all areas of the plant, including restrooms
- Clean all types of equipment; report any equipment needing repair
- Clean and put away all equipment used (e.g., mop buckets)
- Maintain PPE clean and stored properly after each use
- Maintain good attendance and punctuality; follow established work schedule
- Maintain a positive, respectful attitude; cooperate with co-workers, management, and internal stakeholders
- Report incidents of harassment to Team Leader, Manager, or Human Resources Manager
- Take direction and follow instructions
- Work safely at all times; report unsafe conditions or injuries to Supervisor immediately
- Other duties, as assigned by management
- High School Diploma or GED
- Demonstrate ability to understand and take directions
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work alone
- Willingness to learn new methods and procedures
- Trunk Strength – ability to use abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without fatigue
- Extremity Flexibility – ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with arms and legs
- Manual Dexterity – ability to quickly move hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects
- Oral Comprehension – ability to listen and understand information presented verbally
- Static Strength – ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects
- Near Vision – ability to see details at close range (within a few feet)
- Oral Expression – ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand
In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ('Rich's'), a reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.
Annual Range/Hourly Rate: $21.63 - $21.63 per hour
