Job Overview
The City of Crest Hill Civil Service Commission is accepting applications and will be testing for the position of Accounts Disbursement Clerk. The Accounts Disbursement Clerk is a civil service position that works in the Finance Office. This position works heavily in accounting functions including payroll, accounts payable, and utility billing. This position also interacts with the City’s customers both in person and on the phone.

Candidates will need to successfully complete a computer‑based skills test in addition to an in‑person oral interview and must have an average score of 70 on each section with an overall average score of 70 to be placed on the hire list. Successful candidates will be placed on a list in order based on eligibility and may apply for preference points based on military status.

Normal hours for this position are Monday‑Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This position is represented by the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 150 and includes fully paid health insurance, pension, and paid time off benefits.
