We are more than just a parts store, and we are looking for talented individuals to join our NAPA family! As a NAPA Counter Sales, you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers seeking automotive parts and advice. You don’t need to be able to tear down engines (though that’s a plus), but a background in automotive parts is essential.
This role offers a great opportunity whether you want to build a career as a Parts Specialist, work full or part-time, or explore other opportunities within our company.
What You Will Be Doing
Providing auto parts solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone.Using your parts knowledge to assist team members in answering customer questions.Delivering outstanding customer service and interactions.Bringing energy and customer focus to our fast-paced stores.Engaging with retail customers to ensure a positive experience.Utilizing technology (computer, cash register, phone, catalog systems).This Is The Right Opportunity For You If You
Enjoy helping customers with their auto parts and service questions.Have gained experience in the automotive industry or through personal tinkering/repairing.Are willing to learn about automotive parts if you lack prior knowledge.Want to grow your career in a team environment with endless opportunities.What You’ll Need
Valid Driver’s License.Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn.High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school is a plus.Excellent communication skills.Enjoy fast-paced retail environments.Strong listening skills and empathy for customers.Additional Qualifications (Not Required but Preferred)
Automotive, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership experience or passion.Experience with cataloging and inventory management systems.Customer-centric attitude.ASE Certifications.What’s In It For You
