We are more than just a parts store, and we are looking for talented individuals to join our NAPA family! As a NAPA Counter Sales, you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers seeking automotive parts and advice. You don’t need to be able to tear down engines (though that’s a plus), but a background in automotive parts is essential.

This role offers a great opportunity whether you want to build a career as a Parts Specialist, work full or part-time, or explore other opportunities within our company.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Providing auto parts solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone.
  • Using your parts knowledge to assist team members in answering customer questions.
  • Delivering outstanding customer service and interactions.
  • Bringing energy and customer focus to our fast-paced stores.
  • Engaging with retail customers to ensure a positive experience.
  • Utilizing technology (computer, cash register, phone, catalog systems).

  • Have gained experience in the automotive industry or through personal tinkering/repairing.
  • Are willing to learn about automotive parts if you lack prior knowledge.

  • What You’ll Need
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn.
  • High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Enjoy fast-paced retail environments.
  • Strong listening skills and empathy for customers.
  • Additional Qualifications (Not Required but Preferred)
  • Automotive, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership experience or passion.
  • Experience with cataloging and inventory management systems.
  • Customer-centric attitude.
  • ASE Certifications.
