Registered Nurse - Rehab

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our 10-bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit. This role requires the ability to float to the MCU/Tele department when needed.

• One year of experience in an acute health care setting preferred.
• One year of experience in an acute rehab care setting preferred.

• CA-RN
• BLS
• PALS - preferred
• ACLS

The Registered Nurse in the Acute Care setting is responsible for managing the patient and family experience through critical thinking, teamwork, effective communication, and nursing judgment. This role involves providing both indirect and direct care to patients ranging from infants (pediatrics) to geriatrics, with a primary focus on adults to geriatrics.

Key responsibilities include:

• Utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to meet the physiological, psychosocial, safety, learning, and self-care needs of patients and their families.
• Managing the care of assigned patients and directing activities of ancillary staff.
• Providing comprehensive nursing care in collaboration with nursing peers, physicians, and allied support services.
• Delivering individualized, goal-directed nursing care from admission to discharge.
