Travel RN - Rehab - In Patient

American Traveler is hiring a CA-licensed RN for an Inpatient Acute Rehab position requiring acute rehab experience, with the ability to float to MCU/Tele.

Job Details

• 10-bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit in a hospital setting,

• Patient population ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics, with primary focus on adults to geriatrics,

• Float requirement to MCU/Telemetry department,

• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00-19:00),

• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active CA RN license required,

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required,

• PALS certification preferred,

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute healthcare setting required,

• Acute rehab nursing experience required,

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates,

Additional Information

• Manages patient and family experience through critical thinking, teamwork, and nursing judgment across the full care continuum from admission to discharge,

• Directs activities of ancillary staff and collaborates with physicians and allied support services,

• Applies the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to address physiological, psychosocial, safety, and self-care needs,

• 2 supervisor references from within the past two years required for consideration,

• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler,

• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract
