Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a CA RN license, with night shift scheduling in a hospital setting.

Job Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting,

• Patient population spans all age groups and developmental stages,

• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM,

• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active California RN license required,

• Current certifications required: BLS, PALS, and ACLS,

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include direct patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation across all patient age groups,

• Charge nurse functions and leadership of ancillary staff are expected components of this role,

• Former employees of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler,

• Only one holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract,

• Two supervisor references from within the past two years are required for consideration
