Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position in California, requiring a CA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Patient population spans all age groups and developmental stages
• Night shift schedule: 3x12‑hour shifts (18:45–07:15)
• Responsible for managing care of assigned patients and directing ancillary staff
• Assesses patients' physiological and psychological needs and develops, implements, and evaluates individualized care plans
• Performs charge nurse functions as needed
• Former employees of this facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the assignment

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, PALS, and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
• 2 supervisor references from within the past two years required for consideration
