Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position in California, requiring an active CA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.

Job Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting,

• Patients of all age and developmental stages across medical-surgical and telemetry care needs,

• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM,

• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active CA RN license required,

• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS,

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include direct patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation,

• Charge nurse functions and leadership of ancillary staff are expected components of the role,

• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler,

• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract,

• 2 supervisor references from within the past 2 years are required for consideration,
