Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU night shift position requiring a CA license, BSN, and at least 2 years of ICU experience.

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours (19:15–07:15)
• Every other weekend required
• On-call or call-offs are determined by census
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Local candidates are accepted at a local pay rate
• Return staff must have a 1-year gap before returning as travelers
• Only one holiday request for time off will be approved
• Completion of required modules during orientation, with time required varying by specialty
• Must be available for lab work within 3–5 days of signing the agreement

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS, all from the American Heart Association and in hand at the time of consideration
• Epic EMR experience preferred
