We are looking for an experienced Mobile Mechanical Engineer to maintain and repair installations such as ventilation systems (AHU, intake/extract), heating and cooling systems (thermal wheels, FCUs, etc.), and water system assets such as booster sets, calorifiers, and water heaters. The role requires delivering the highest level of service for the client, answering queries, reporting defects, and keeping clients informed of site activities during service visits.
All work‑related documentation must be completed accurately and on time, including logs of inspection reports and remedial work.
- Maintain and repair mechanical and HVAC equipment on client sites.
- Respond to client queries and provide timely updates on site activities.
- Document and log all inspections, repairs, and remedial work accurately.
- Operate within health & safety, permit-to-work, and safe systems of working guidelines.
- Participate in the on‑call rota as required.
- Valid full driving licence.
- IT literate with ability to use mobile devices.
- Capability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights, and confined spaces.
- Relevant qualifications such as C&G Level 3 or Level 5 / NVQ or HNC equivalent.
- Knowledge of health & safety, permit‑to‑work procedures, and safe systems of working.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in a Maintenance/Facilities Management environment is desirable.
