MET Technician

MET Technician – Crawley

Salary: £50,000 (£57,000 OTE)

We are currently recruiting for a fully qualified MET Technician for a reputable body shop based in Crawley. This opportunity has arisen due to the high volume of work and we are looking for a Technician who wants to earn well and be involved in a busy, thriving site. Preference for ATA will be considered.

• Mechanical, electrical, trim and body work on allocated jobs; panel replacement and re‑alignment to manufacturer gapping and specification
• Vehicle diagnostics, fault clearing and fault finding; removal, refitting radiators and air conditioning repair and re‑gas
• Panel straightening and filling
• Suspension components replacement, repairs and wheel alignment
• ADAS calibration (training provided)
• Identify additional repair work and liaise with the VDA

• Fully qualified MET vehicle technician
• Experience working within a body shop (essential)
• Must hold a Full UK driving licence
• Experience with in the body shop as a MET/vehicle technician; NVQ, City & Guilds or ATA preferred but not essential
• Candidate with 5 years’ experience in a similar role preferred
