Bodyshop Technician

We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a qualified Panel & MET Technician to join our client's team at a leading accident repair centre in Crawley. This role is ideal for experienced technicians seeking to develop their careers within a modern, well-equipped facility, committed to delivering high-quality automotive repairs.

• Competitive basic salary up to £50,000, commensurate with experience
• OTE potential reaching £57,000 annually
• Monday to Friday working hours from 08:00 to 17:30
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

• Performing removal and replacement of mechanical, electrical, and trim components on vehicles
• Diagnosing faults accurately and carrying out necessary repairs
  
  Ensuring all repairs meet manufacturer standards and quality expectations
• Safeguarding customer vehicles and contents during repairs
• Interpreting technical data and utilise alignment equipment correctly
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment
• Reporting any additional faults or damages during repairs
• Completing all documentation accurately, with an emphasis on minimal wastage and correct part ordering
• Maintaining tools and equipment to a high standard
• Supporting team members and assisting with workshop activities as required

• Previous time-served MET or panel repair experience
• NVQ Level 3 or senior ATA accreditation (desirable)
• Full UK driving licence
• Own tools and equipment
• Ability to work efficiently within a busy workshop environment
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality standards
